Dra. Sonia Monreal Clua

Dr. Sonia Monreal Clua with a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 2013 and specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics from Vall d’Hebron Hospital in 2018.
Her training includes a diploma in Statistics in Health Sciences (2019-2021) and a Master’s degree in Research Methodology in Health Sciences at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2023-2024).

Throughout her career, Dr. Monreal has worked in various units at Vall d’Hebron Hospital, initially in the Gynecologic Oncology Unit and currently in the Benign Gynecology and Endoscopy Unit. In addition, she is dedicated to training, being a professor and tutor of the Master in Gynecological Endoscopy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

His participation in international congresses and courses highlights his constant updating in areas such as obstetric ultrasound, laparoscopic surgery, prenatal diagnosis and fetal medicine. He has presented numerous oral communications and posters at prestigious congresses.

Currently, assistant physician of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of the Hospital de la Valle de Hebron in Barcelona, exercising her professional activity in the area of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery of deep endometriosis and benign gynecological pathology.

Accredited for the handling of the DA Vinci endoscopic Robot in September 2024.

Dr. Monreal has a particular interest in Benign Gynecologic Pathology, Endoscopy in the treatment of deep endometriosis and research in Health Sciences, which makes her an expert committed to the welfare of her patients and the continuous improvement of medical practice.
